Signatures
Every mailbox can have one or more signatures that Cirrux adds to the messages you write. You can write them in the rich-text editor or drop in raw HTML, which is useful if you want a logo, custom fonts, or markup pasted from another tool.
Manage your signatures
Create a signature#
Go to Settings → Mailboxes, pick the mailbox you want to edit, and open the Signatures tab (under More in the tab row). Click Create signature, give it a name and write your signature in the editor.
One signature is marked as the default and gets added to new messages, replies and forwards automatically. Use Mark as default in a signature’s menu to change which one. Workspace admins can also manage a member’s signatures under Users at admin.cirrux.info.
Use raw HTML#
For logos, branded fonts, multi-column layouts, or signatures generated by a third-party tool, turn on Edit as HTML and paste your markup directly. A preview shows how it will look. Cirrux sends your HTML as you wrote it, except for image addresses (see below).
Add a logo or image#
Images go in through HTML mode: add them with a standard <img> tag that points to an image on a public URL. When you save the signature, cirrux.infopies each image to its own servers and the mail you send links to that copy, so the image keeps working even if the original link goes away. You can’t upload images directly in the rich-text editor.
Multiple signatures#
You can store as many signatures as you like per mailbox, for example a version for work and one for personal mail. The default signature is used automatically.
You can’t pick a different signature from inside the compose editor. The default is inserted, and you can delete it from the message by hand. If you change the sender to a different mailbox, Cirrux swaps in that mailbox’s default signature.
